Carinthian Savings Bank and ORF Carinthia agree on SSC cooperation
The cooperation between the Carinthian Savings Bank and ORF Carinthia for the popular program “Servus, Srečno, Ciao” will continue next year. For 23 years, this series has been broadcasting every Saturday, showcasing the most beautiful places in our neighboring regions. The ORF team has visited countless locations during this time, presenting customs, culture, crafts, culinary delights, interesting landscapes, and the people who live there.
Siegfried Huber, spokesperson for the board of directors of Kärntner Sparkasse: “This cooperation is important to us because two institutions are fulfilling their missions here. The ORF (Austrian Broadcasting Corporation) is fulfilling its public service mandate of providing information, and the Kärntner Sparkasse is fulfilling its social and civic mission of bringing the cultural environment in Carinthia, as well as in Slovenia and Italy, closer to the people. Furthermore, the population gets to know their neighbors from a perspective they would otherwise never experience – a human one. They learn how people live and work there. This is very important for all of us because we live in a shared, closely connected economic and cultural area in the Alpe-Adria region.”
The cooperation agreement at the Carinthian Savings Bank was signed by ORF State Director Karin Bernhard and Savings Bank Board Spokesman Mag. Siegfried Huber.
