The Verband der Freien Sparkassen (Association of German Independent Savings Banks) works to promote cross-border cooperation between the independent member institutions in Europe. It provides a broad platform for both discussions and exchanges on overarching business interests and issues, which continue to grow in importance in light of the shared European Economic Area and current economic and political challenges.
